LynServ was launched in March of 2023 by Tim Boozer. After working with an existing employee benefits firm for over 20 years, Tim branched out and started LynServ with one primary focus - service. Tim's experience in the industry includes not only group benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision, Group Life, Group Disability, etc.) but also voluntary supplements, most of which the employee can keep after they leave employment (Life, Short Term Disability, Accident, Critical Illness, Cancer, etc.) as well as individual policies like Disability and Life insurance.

Why the focus on service? Because true service is missing in this industry. Prior to the employee benefits industry Tim had worked since college in management with a nationwide company of copy and print shops with daily direct face-to-face customer interaction. As a manager, the customer service focus was strong and is ingrained in the spirit. It is missing from the insurance and employee benefits industry. So LynServ was born to fill this void.

Why choose "LynServ" for the name? This name is very important. The company is named after Tim's late mother, Lynda, who passed away in 2008 after battling Leukemia. Lynda was a servant of God and that Spirit is also instilled in Tim. Hard work is another family trait that Tim brings to this business. Tim's father, Robert, has set the bar high with a lifetime example of the hard work it takes to get the job done, no matter the job. And much like Lynda, Robert is also a servant of God. So yes, the "Serv" portion of the name has a double meaning. Not only do we put in the work necessary to serve our clients, we also serve our Heavenly Father.
